A remote position open only to candidates based in the U.S., the LifeSite League Coordinator’s responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community organizing program focused on church-groups and parishes to promote pro-life values and raise awareness about the sanctity of life.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within church-groups, parishes, and other faith-based organizations to build strong, sustainable partnerships.
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops, seminars, and events aimed at educating, inspiring, and engaging community members on pro-life issues covered by LifeSiteNews.
  • Develop and manage a grassroots network of volunteers and supporters who can be mobilized for local actions and campaigns.
  • Create, promote, and manage pro-life petitions to influence policymakers and raise public awareness on pressing pro-life issues.
  • Collaborate with the LifeSiteNews team to create content for our website, newsletters, and social media channels highlighting the impact of community organizing efforts.
  • Regularly report on the progress and effectiveness of community organizing initiatives to LifeSiteNews leadership.

Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to Catholic, pro-life, and pro-family values.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community organizing, grassroots advocacy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships with diverse stakeholders, including church-groups, parishes, and faith-based organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools, including social media, email marketing, and website management.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, events, and organizing efforts.
